59th Snowball Derby — Dec 2–6, 2026
The Snowball Derby is the biggest short-track race of the year for Super Late Models: 300 laps on the half-mile asphalt at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, run the first Sunday in December since 1968. The week builds from Wednesday's qualifying draw through Saturday's Snowflake 125 for Pro Late Models to Sunday's 1 p.m. CT green flag. Cup, Truck and ARCA regulars show up every year, and the field is set by time trials plus last-chance races, so the Friday and Saturday programs matter as much as Sunday.
